Sergey Tashuev is new Akhmat head coach

Akhmat Grozny officially announced signing of Sergey Tashuev as new head coach.

His contract will be active till the end of this season. Tashuev spent years living in Grozny, he also worked as an assistant coach in Terek in 2006. Coach worked as manager in two RPL clubs, these were Spartak Nalchik in 2011/12 season and Kuban Krasnodar in 2015/16 season. Tashuev has 42 league matches in total as head coach earning 8 wins, 10 draws and 24 defeats. Earlier in 2022 63-year-old coach worked in Shakhtyor Soligorsk from Belarus.

On 11 September, Akhmat announced the departure of Andrey Talalaev, who had been working with the team since August 2020. Yury Nagaytsev took the duties in the Cup fixture against Dynamo Moscow and RPL Matchday 10 fixture against Ural.

In the next games Akhmat will face Rostov as Cup opponent on 29 September and Dynamo as RPL opponent on 2 October.
