Baltika Kaliningrad announced extension with first team coaching staff.

Club-competitor in 2023/24 RPL season re-signed with head coach Sergey Ignashevich, senior coach Dmitry Michkov, assistant coach Artem Buloychik, goaltending coach Gleb Presnyakov and physical coach Mikhail Solovey.

Six-time RPL champion Ignashevich was hired as head coach in 2021; since starting coaching career former Russia national team defender worked in CSKA U-19 as assistant and Torpedo Moscow as head coach. Baltika finished first season with Ignashevich tenth in FNL, then they became second and earned promotion to RPL. Baltika will come back to top division after being relegated in 1998.

Dmitry Michkov joined Baltika alongside Ignashevich in 2021. Artem Buloychik and Mikhail Solovey were added to staff in June 2022, while Gleb Presnyakov came in January 2023.
