In ROSGOSSTRAKH Russian Football Championship 2017-2018 MD 1 kick-off match in Ekaterinburg Ural played against Rostov. The game ended in a draw 1:1.

The first goal of the new season was scored after a kick from 11-meter mark by midfield of the club from the Urals Nikolay Dimitrov in the 41st minute of the game. The club from Rostov managed to avoid losing only due to the goal scored by the team captain Alexander Gatcan in the 60th minute.
