Samara team captain Sergey Kornilenko scored the opener in the 49th minute. Sofiane Hanni equalized in the 59th minute, and three minutes later Lorenzo Melgarejo took the lead for the Red-Whites. The final score was fixed by Luiz Adriano in the 90th minute of the game.
