According to the results of Russian Premier League MD 1 season 2019/20 we have a new record: 8 matches were attended by 183 617 spectators (appr. 22 952 per match). The previous record was fixed in season 2018/19, then the attendance reached  169 600 spectators (21 200 per match).

The new record was set after Sunday games, immediately after the match Zenit – Tambov. 172 885 spectators attended 7 matches of MD 1. The game between Lokomotiv Moscow and Rubin Kazan extended the gap from the previous record.

The previous season of the Russian Premier League showed the biggest attendance in history. 4 036 196 spectators  watched 240 matches of season-2018/19 at the stadia, which is 20% more than before.
