Akhmat sign Maksim Nenakhov and Felipe Vizeu

Akhmat Grozny have bolstered their squad with the signings of full-back Maksim Nenakhov from FNL leaders Rotor Volgograd and Udinese’s 22-year-old Brazilian forward Felipe Vizeu. The latter has arrived on loan until the end of this calendar year with Akhmat retaining the right to buy, while Nenakhov has signed a permanent deal.

Vizeu scored six goals in 11 games for Brazil’s under-20 national team and was joint-top goalscorer for Flamengo in the 2017 Copa Sudamericana. Despite already playing in his fifth full season, he has accumulated the modest total of 16 goals in 65 club matches.

Nenakhov has started all but one of Rotor’s 24 league matches so far, only missing 16 minutes of those 23 games. The former Dynamo Moscow youth team product can also play at centre-back, where he spent most of his loan spell at FC Tyumen two years ago.

Meanwhile, Damian Szymanski has been loaned out to AEK Athens until the end of this season. Since the 24-year-old Polish midfielder’s arrival in Grozny last summer he has made four appearances totalling 178 minutes with no goals or assists.
