A goal from the talismanic Malcom put champions Zenit in front of Ufa with just ten minutes on the clock. A wonderful long ball from Yaroslav Rakitsky was met by the Brazilian winger, who slotted home with ease. Ufa tried their level best to get back into the game after going down, and did so in the second half. Young forward Gamid Agalarov scored again, capitalising off a defensive mistake from Wilmar Barrios

Olympic gold medalist Claudinho also made his debut for Zenit today, and impressed fans with some great displays of skill. 

Zenit remain on top of the table, whereas Ufa are clear of the relegation zone.
