On Wednesday 18 May, the draw ceremony took place in the Russian Football Union office to define the hosts of the first relegation play-off matches between RPL and FNL teams.

Following the draw, FNL teams will play first matches at home, while the RPL teams will be the hosts of the second matches.

The joint group of RPL, FNL and RFU  representatives also confirmed the schedule of the relegation play-off: the first legs will take place on 25 May, while the second legs will be played on 28 May.
