FC Spartak Moscow and Bank "Otkritie" announced a start of strategic partnership. 

FC Spartak Moscow and Bank "Otkritie" signed a long-term sponsorship agreement. In terms of the agreement a new stadium that is being built in Tushino will be called "Otkritie Arena" and the club's form will be branded by the bank starting season 2013/14, the club's official site says.

The deal costs 1 billion 208 million rubles. The agreement conditions provide stadium naming for 6 years. These funds will be invested into development of the club, its infrastructure, bases, Academy by Cherenkov, veterans movement, youth football projects.

This kind of partnership has already been implemented in European football world for several years. Among examples there are such famous western clubs as Bayern playing at a stadium named Allianz Arena and Arsenal playing at the Emirates Stadium.

At the arena the memory of the legendary club founders Starostin brothers and other Spartak veterans will be perpetuated with calling stands by their names and installation of their sculptures.

"Otkritie Arena" will become a part of a unique project of federal significance "Tushino-2018" that will be a unified complex including the football stadium and a roofed arena, water and ice sports arenas, tennis courts, gyms and also developed touristic infrastructure.

"This deal is very important to the club, especially in terms of financial fair play that is strictly held by UEFA recently. In this regard an own stadium surrounded with infrastructure is a cornerstone to implement ideas of financial fair play. Thereby, Spartak that has no access to public funds as many other clubs do makes a serious step to self-sufficiency", - the Head of FC Spartak Moscow Board of Directors Leonid Fedun said.
