By the decision of the FC Rubin Board of Trustees Vladimir Leonov was appointed as the CEO of the club. Previously Leonov served as the CEO of ANO "Executive Board of the XXVII World Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan”. On the evening, December 24, the decision by the Board of Trustees was announced by the Rubin President Valery Sorokin.

Officially Vladimir Leonov will start his duties in his new position after New Year. Meanwhile, by the decision of the Supervisory Board of ANO "Executive Board "Kazan 2013" the first Deputy CEO Azat Kadyrov is appointed as an Acting Head of the organization.
