Spartak continues its preparation for the new season. In the recent two days the team was working in two groups, which had thorough medical examination one by one in Sport Medical Center at Luzhniki and had training sessions in Tarasovka, as the website of the club informs.

On 19 June the Head Coach of red-and-white Murat Yakin had the first general training session of Spartak, which took place at Spartakovets stadium. This is related to the fact that in Tarasovka the installation of the new grass turf  is under way. The previous grass turf was being used by the team for the period of four years.

The session started at  14:50, lasted one hour and forty five minutes and was quite intensive. Players had their warming up, stretching, after which Yakin divided his players into three groups, which were working with passes and ball control. After that, the coach formed two groups of 10 players each, which one by one worked in two squares with different tasks.

 Three goalkeepers at this time were working separately under the goalkeepers coach Gianluca Riommi.

At the end of the session the players had a football game on a limited space. In two-side game a lot of goals were scored, most of them by forwards Artyom Dzyuba and Lucas Barrios, playing for different teams. Artyom scored 5 goals, and Lucas made a hat-trick.

It is necessary to point out that many media representatives were watching today’s training session of the red-and-white, and they were standing at the pitch for the whole duration of the session.
