On 24 July the new defender of FC  Zenit, Vice-Champion of the World 2014 with the National Team of Argentina Ezequiel Garay arrived to St.Petersburg and had his medical examination at SOGAZ Clinic.

Garay arrived in St. Petersburg the day before, and underwent a pre-season medical exam on Thursday.

Garay will join Zenit for his first training with the team on Friday at Udelny Park in St. Petersburg, and begin the final stage of preparation for the first match of the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League against AEL.

Ezequiel Garay transferred to Zenit from the Portuguese side Benfica during the World Cup in Brazil. Earlier Garay played for Newell`s Old Boys, Racing and Real Madrid.
