Miodrag Bozovic – Acting Head Coach of Lokomotiv

On 4 October Miodrag Bozovic was appointed as Acting Head Coach of FC Lokomotiv.

Olga Smorodskaya, the club President, introduced the 46-year old specialist to the team at the training base in Bakovka, after which Miodrag had his first training session, as the website of the club informs.

Coaching career

Miodrag Bozovic started his coaching career quite early: he was 32 when he started in FC Belgrade. The main success of the first stage of his career was 27-match run without losing with Budućnost (Montenegro).

In 2008 Miodrag moved to Russia: he was invited to be the Head Coach of Amkar, with which Bozovic got the 4th place in the Premier League, still the highest achievement in the club history, and qualified to the Cup of Russia final.

In the following years Bozovic coached FC Moskva, Dynamo Moscow and again Amkar. During two recent years Bozovic was Head Coach of FC Rostov, with which he managed to get real success: in the season 2013\14 the team from Rostov became the Cup of Russia holders for the first time in their history and got the right to participate in European Cups.
