On 19 January 2015 the famous defender of Dynamo club, legend of Soviet football Vladimir Kesarev passed away. He was 83.

The whole life of Vladimir Kesarev was committed to football. His name is connected with most famous Dynamo wins in Russia and abroad.

European Cup 1960 holder, three times Champion of the USSR, Vladimir was a very modest person. He enjoyed greatly communication with young players sharing his invaluable experience with them.

Vladimir played his first match for Dynamo on 17 May 1956, he played 218 official matches in total and scored 3 goals. For the national team of the country Kesarev played 14 matches. After his playing career was over he brought up many generations of young talents from Dynamo Academy. He also participated in the club life till the very last day of his life.
