Zenit in Qatar: Tkachuk scored the only goal in the two-side match

On 20 January Zenit players continued their work in Qatar and had one of their last training sessions at Aspire Base.

The session lasted for about two hours – after the gym the team moved to the pitch and had some exercises with the ball, after which they played a twi-side match 11x11 on the two thirds of the pitch. The only goal was scored by Denis Tkachuk, who is on a tryout, as the website of the club informs.

There will be no evening session on Tuesday. The team will attend the handball World Cup match between national teams of Russia and Poland.

On Wednesday Zenit will play a light morning training session, play against Al-Shahania at 16:00 and fly to St.Petersburg.
