Zenit wins its final friendly match in Qatar

On 21 January the main squad of Zenit finished their first winter training camp in Doha.

On Wednesday morning the team of Andre Villas-Boas had a light training session, and at 16:00 came to one of Aspire Center pitches to  play a friendly match against Qatar Championship top division club Al-Shahania, as the website of the club informs.

The first half ended in a draw 0:0, in the second half Blue-White-LightBlues managed to score 4 goals – in the 47^th minute Alexander Kerzhakov scored the opener by converting a penalty, got for the foul against Axel Witsel, Nicolas Lombaerts extended the lead in the 53^rd minute after a corner kick, Axel Witsel scored the third goal in the 60^th minute and Ramil Sheydaev scored in the 74^th minute.

In total Zenit had 17 training sessions in Doha and three friendly matches, winning two of them and losing one.

The team will stay 2 days in St.Petersburg and on 24 January depart for Turkey, where they will have their second winter training camp.
