Legendary Zenit defender became the ninth player whose footprints were included into Blue-White-LightBlue museum.
The footprints on the special form were presented at the club base on 10 April before the open training session. The veteran put his signature on it, after that the future show-piece was forwarded to the museum funds.
Vladimir Golubev played for the Blue-White-LightBlues in the period between 1967 and 1981 and in total played 384 matches for the team, where he scored 7 goals. For 4 years he was the team captain. In 1980 he won the bronze medals of the USSR Championship together with Zenit.
Tradition to gather footprints and handprints (for goalkeepers) for the club museum was launched several years ago. The following players have already taken part in the ceremony: Stanislav Zavidonov, German Zonin, Vasily Danilov, Anatoly Zinchenko, Yury Zheludkov, Anatoly Davydov, Alexander Gorshkov and Mikhail Biryukov.
