At the post-match press-conference Dmitry Alenichev was excited with the win of Spartak over Rubin, told what he had said to the players in the halftime and how substitutions affected the game.

— The game was very hard today. Rubin is the team which has very strong and technique players and it does not matter that they had lost in the two previous matches. I spoke about it to my players and they realized that the match will be difficult.

I am happy that we won such a tough game. There is also one negative moment: I think that Rubin had advantage in the game during the second half. Fortunately our defense played with clean sheet.
