On 3 February FC Krasnodar signed a contract with 23-year old virtual football player Andrey Konnov for the period of 1 year.

Virtual football player is going to play for the club at the first official tournament RFPL Cup for Virtual Football in FIFA 17 game. The competition with participation of 16 players from the Premier League clubs will be held in the period between 24 and 26 February in Ufa. Besides, Andrey Konnov will represent the team at all similar events held under auspices of the RFPL.

FC Krasnodar supporter received this title by winning the first virtual football championship, which was held by the club more than a week ago.
