Aleksey Berezutsky joins CSKA coaching staff

CSKA Moscow announced that Aleksey Berezutsky moved to the first team coaching staff, where his twin-brother Vasily has been already working since August.

In January 2020 both brothers came back to CSKA as CEO deputies on sports, before Vasily joined Viktor Gancharenko staff in summer. Earlier in December Sergey Ovchinnikov and Viktor Onopko left the club because their contracts were expired.

Aleksey Berezutsky played for the Armymen since 2001 till 2018 and became six-time RPL champion, seven-time Russian Cup winner and five-team Russian Super Cup holder. He is also 2005 UEFA Cup winner with CSKA and Euro 2008 bronze medalist with Russian national team.
