Marcus Berg will leave FC Krasnodar at the end of this season. The Swedish forward will continue his career in his homeland with IFK Gothenburg, where he came through the youth system and made his professional debut. 

This season Berg is the club's top scorer in the Russian Premier Liga so far with nine goals, matching his total from last season's campaign when he also finished top of Krasnodar's scoring charts. It is his eighth successive season with at least 10 goals in all competitions.
