Krasnodar fire Viktor Goncharenko

Krasnodar have ended the contract of head coach Viktor Goncharenko with immediate effect. His assistants, Vassily Berezutsky and Aleksandr Ermakovich, have also left the club.

Gocharenko leaves the club after nine months in charge, having been knocked out of the Russian Cup at the Elite Round stage and won 10 of his 23 RPL matches in charge. In total he has presided over 202 RPL matches across spells in charge of Krasnodar, CSKA Moscow, Ural Ekaterinburg, Kuban Krasnodar and Ufa.

A replacement has not been officially confirmed yet.
