Kazakh defender Nuraly Alip has signed for RPL leaders Zenit St. Petersburg on loan from Kairat Almaty. The agreement runs until December 2022, with the Blue-White-Sky Blues retaining the right to make the transfer permanent.
Alip was born on 22 December 1999 in Aktau, and joined the academy of local side Kaspia at the age of eight. In 2015 he joined the Kairat Academy, and three years later made his debut for the senior side alongside Zenit legend Andrey Arshavin.
In total, Alip has played 99 matches for Kairat, scoring five goals and making 4 assists on the way to being crowned Kazakh champion and two-time Kazah Cup winner. He has also played 12 matches for the Kazakhstan national team.
In January 2022 he arrived on trial at Zenit’s training camp, and scored two goals in the Atlantic Cup games against Midtjylland and Brondby.
