Valery Karpin returns to Rostov until Russia readmitted to international competition

Valery Karpin has returned to Rostov as head coach, after leaving the role last summer to focus entirely on his duties as Russian national team manager. The agreement will see him take the reigns of the RPL club until Russia are reinstated to international competition.

Karpin has also extended his contract as Russian national team head coach until the end of 2022. He will continue in both roles for the foreseeable future.
