Champions of Russia and Serbia met for the second time this year, in July teams played at Fisht Stadium in Sochi, and Zenit won 2-1. In St. Petersburg guests from Belgrad broke the deadlock through Ibrahim Mustafa’s header. Zenit found the answer in the second half with three straight goals. Aleksey Sutormin tied from penalty, awarded due to handball, then Aleksandr Erokhin left alone in front of net and beat the goalkeeper, and finally Gustavo Mantuan scored on breakaway being assisted by Malcom.
