On 4  October one of the most favourite football players in the country Fedor Cherenkov passed away. His name is fixed in the history of Spartak Moscow and all Russian Football.

Fedor Chrerenkov was a magician of the ball, he was not playing but creating on the pitch, acting non-standardly, smartly and skillfully. With his commitment to football and genious game he got the love of all supporters. He played 494 matches for Spartak, he won the USSR Championship three times, he became the Russian Champion.

Till the very last days Fedor Cherenkov was working for Spartak Academy, which was titled after his name, and passed his invaluable experience to young red-and-white talents.
