EPFL General Assembly took place in Stockholm on 24 October, it was the first Assembly in season 2014/2015. Heads of leading football professional leagues discussed the main issues of European club football management.

As per the results of the meeting a Resolution on Overdue Payables was adopted. It considers necessary working out of clear regulations on national and international level, which will guarantee payment of any amounts due by the clubs to other clubs, players, as well as tax and fiscal authorities.

EPFL confirmed once again that FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar should be arranged in the previously planned period (summer 2022). Any changes of the time will cause a huge economical and sport damage to national competitions.

During the meeting the election to the Board of Directors was held: Instead of Frank Rutten, who left his position, the EPFL elected Jacco Swart, CEO of the Dutch Eredivisie, as new Board Member and welcomed the Romanian Professional Football League and the Israeli Professional Football Leagues as new EPFL Members. The EPFL Association, which represents now 31 Leagues and Association of Clubs across Europe.

Next General Assembly will be held on 12-13 March 2015 in Barcelona.
