In the SOGAZ-Russian Football Championship MD 20 match Rubin hosted Rostov in Kazan. The match ended with win of the home team 2:0.

Rubin had a chance to open the score in the 68th minute, but Stipe Pletikosa saved the kick from 11-meter mark which Carlos Eduardo tried to convert. This failure did not confuse the players of Renat Bilyaletdinov and they managed to score twice. It was made by Igor Portnyagin and Magomed Ozdoev in the 84th and 90th minutes.
