On 21 April in Moscow General Assembly of the Russian Football Premier League took place. Heads and representatives of 16 Premier League clubs discussed important questions of the Russian professional football further development.

As we have already informed, Sergey Pryadkin was unanimously elected as RFPL President for the period of 5 years.

Besides, the Assembly participants were presented with project of the Premier League development strategy up to 2020, worked out in cooperation with leading consulting company Deloitte. Pointing out a big amount of work done the club heads took decision to hold additional consultations for the final agreement and approval of this document.

The representatives also discussed the project of 2015-2016 calendar structure and decided to apply to the FUR with proposal to move the quarter-final and final Cup of Russia matches from week days to week-ends so it could be convenient for supporters.

The FUR ExCo will also be forwarded a proposal to delegate the responsibility of the Football Pitches(Turfs) Approval Commission to the RFPL with the project of its regulations.

RFPL delegate from the Premier League to the ordinary Conference of the Football Union of Russia, which will be held on 31 May, was elected RFPL Executive Director Sergey Cheban.
