On Sunday, 14 June before the EURO-2016 qualifying match Russia - Austria, a football festival took place at the capital stadium Jantar. It was dedicated to the 70-anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The event was arranged by the Football Veterans Union, Direction of Sports Programmes and Social Projects, RFPL and FNL jointly with FUR. The support for the festival was rendered by Gazpromtrans, Gazprom neft, Lukoil, Charity Foundation of FC Spartak veterans and youth support, non-commercial partnership Sport-TEK, as the website of the Football Union of Russia informs.
