On Sunday, 9 August, before the Russian Football Championship MD 4 match Ufa - Zenit an official opening ceremony of Neftyanik Stadium was held. FUR Vice-President and President of the Russian Football Premier League Sergey Pryadkin handed Certificate of correspondence. Stadium of the 1st category in Ufa was inaugurated.

– I would like to congratulate all people of Bashkortostan Republic and all of us - football supporters with such an outstanding event - opening of the new stadium, - Sergey Pryadkin said to the RFPL Press-Service. - I want to thank the club administration, the government of the Republic and personally President Rustem Khamitov for his great contribution into the football development in this region. Supporters and players of Ufa got a new modern stadium, which corresponds to all modern requirements and now Ufa will be playing all home matches in its city. I am sure that quite soon several more sports arenas will be inaugurated and Russian Championship will raise to a new higher level.
