In the first leg match of UEFA Champions League Play-off Sporting hosted PFC CSKA.

The match ended with win of the club from Portugal - 2:1.

Gutierrez scored the opener in the first half. The Army team could playback in the 27^th minute, but Doumbia was not able to score from 11-meter mark to the Portuguese goalkeeper. However close to the end of the half the new player of PFC CSKA managed to score.

However, Slimani brought win to his team in the second half.

The return leg match will take place on 26 August in Khimki.
