Official opening of volunteers’ centers in Russia for 2018 FIFA World Cup took place on 10 December. The centers will recruit and train volunteers for 2018 FIFA World Cup and 2017 FIFA Confederations Cup. Volunteers’ centers are founded on the basis of 15 universities located in all host cities:  Volgograd, Ekaterinburg, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Moscow (5 universities), Nizhny Novgorod, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, St.Petersburg, Saransk and Sochi. 

Russian Football Premier League jointly with LOC 2018 FIFA World Cup takes active part in preparation of 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.

Russian Football Premier League President Sergey Pryadkin together with LOC Operations Director Dmitry Godunov and FC Dynamo Moscow International Relations and Development Director Alexey Smertin took part in the opening of the volunteers’ center in Moscow university Sinergia.

"Football is the number one game in Russia, and I don’t doubt that 2018 FIFA World Cup volunteering campaign will leave legacy to the Russian football and will gather a record number of applications from the active part of the Russian population", RFPL President said.
