On Wednesday, 23 March, a  National Team of Russia Spark the Stars of Children Football League! Project presentation took place at «Sheraton Moscow Sheremetyevo». The event was held within the frames of the Football Union of Russia project Looking for Talents, as well as international festival of Children Football League Big Stars Shine for Little Ones. The following officials and players took place in the event: the First Vice President of the Football Union of Russia Nikita Simonyan, FUR Deputy General Secretary Alexander Zorkov,  National Team of Russia Head Coach Leonid Slutskiy, National Team of Russia players Alexey and Vasily Berezutskiy, Denis Glushakov, Alan Dzagoev, Artem Dzyuba, Alexander Kerzhakov, Alexander Kokorin, Yury Lodygin, Ilya Maksimov, Marinato Guilherme, Oleg Shatov, Roman Shirokov, as well as Children Football League President Victor Gorlov. Trainees of Torpedo and Chertanovo football schools were guests of the ceremony.

The presentation started with video about festival history. All those who gathred could see the current stars in their childhood when they had made their first steps in football, as well as recollect many of those who organizes their own tournaments in their native towns.

Nikita Simonyan said: «If you are skilled with the ball now, then everything will be successful for you. When I was a  kid I spent all my time on football pitches, but we never had such good conditions as you are having now. We did not have even running shoes. I always tore my boots and my father beat me. But football won».

Commemorative tea-sets were handed to Leonid Slutskiy, who had been organizing this tournament since its launching, and Alexander Kokorin, who became the general sponsor of the Big Stars Shine to Little Ones-2015  festival final stage. And participants Denis Glushakov and Ilya Maksimov received Children Football League medals For Commitment to the Russian Football. 

The new stars were sparked in home towns that days: the Berezutskiy brothers – in Moscow, Alan Dzagoev – in Beslan, Alexander Kerzhakov – in Kingisepp, Alexander Kokorin – in Valuiki (Belgorod Region), Yury Lodygin – in Vladimir, Oleg Shatov – in Nizhny Novgorod, Roman Shirokov – in Dedovsk (Moscow Region). A special star is shining in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatskiy. Artem Dzyuba tournament will take place there. Artem was born in the capital, but the Far East inhabitants adore him.

The presentation ended with questions of young players. One of the most interesting one was to Leonid Slutskiy: “Why are you always pendulating during matches?». The National Team Head Coach replied with a joke that when we had such good players as the author of the question would be, he will have to get nervous less, and pendulate less. And so far he has always to worry. Roman Shirokov promised to end the coming match with a confident win: «Which score are we going to have in the next match? And which do you want? 3:0? Ok, let it be!».
