At ROSTOSSTRAKH Russian Football Championship MD 29 matches the Russian Football Premier League clubs arranged many interesting events and activities for supporters. The detailed information is in our traditional review.

KRYLIA SOVETOV – RUBIN

The club from Samara prepared many interesting entertaining activities for their supporters. All people of Samara were invited to football by Krylia midfield Alexey Pomerko. The player accompanied by the club mascot Rat Lutik went to the game by the club tram. Alexey gave out tickets for the game and pins to the tram passengers and had his photos taken with all those who wanted.

The center of the programme again was fan-zone behind the official club store. 40 minutes before the kick-off a concert of Samara band  IRON BEES took place. The performance of the musicians created real buzz among football fans – the concert gathered big audience. This is the second performance of IRON BEES at Metallurg – the band played before the match of Krylia against Ural inside the stadium. Traditionally everybody could use the services of face painting, as well as have one’s photo taken with 3D graffiti. This match was visited by pupils of school No 74 on the invitation of Sergey Kornilenko. The children divided into teams and had a friendly match at Metallurg mini-pitch, then they went to the game.

Samara team Head Coach Frank Verkauteren took part in the charity event related to European Championship. Belgian Charity Foundation representatives brought national team of Belgium playing kit used at FIFA World Cup 1986 in Mexico to Verkauteren for signatures. All samples of the legendary kit will be sold in Belgium at a special auction and the funds raised will be forwarded to charity.

On 18 May Krylia Sovetov players and their supporters will take part in joint Samara beer brewing. This brand is the official partner of the club and it invited supporters, players, coaches and administration to visit Baltika brewery in Samara and to brew the most popular kind of beer among fans and Samara inhabitants.

FC Rubin launched website  rubinfans.ru and now any active supporter can see the match of their favourite team from different viewpoint. 90 minutes of active supporting with songs and chanting around the stadium is guaranteed.

FC Rubin U-21 team captain, midfield of National Youth Team of Russia Andrey Mironov visited pupils of Kazan Upper Secondary School No 7.

Andrey congratulated the prize-winners of The Most Football Class contest – 10 A, brought club scarves and programmes, and invited them to the wrap-up matches of A and U-21 team in the current season.

Rubin also arranged some events in Kazan schools with participation of foreign and Russian players.

ANJI – MORDOVIA

The club from Makhachkala traditionally arranged free buses for supporters before and after the match.

ZENIT – LOKOMOTIV

Italian defender Domenico Criscito became another key person of joint charity project of Zenit and Rusofond: together they almost gathered the amount necessary for medical treatment of 18 months old Ira Ovchinnikova and the player did what nobody had expected of him.

Raising of funds for the Rusofond cliend which need an operation started in April Over one million roubles had been gathered by 16 May, but 185 thousand more is needed. Donations are accepted to davai.fc-zenit.ru by means of bank cards, sms and main payment systems.

SPARTAK – TEREK

Spartak traditionally prepared a big entertainment programme for supporters. All those who wished could have a traditional stadium tour arranged at Otkrytie Arena.

ROSTOV – URAL

A beauty contest among lady-fans of the club ended in Rostov-on-Don. A competent panel, which included Rostov players Timofey Kalachev and Serdar Azmun, chose the winner. It was Ekaterina Nefedova, which impressed everybody with a fantastic football performance during contest of talents.

PFC CSKA – KRASNODAR

PFC CSKA prepared an interesting entertainment programme for supporters of all age levels. Award ceremony of Alexey Berezutskiy took place before the kick-off. Alexey Berezutskiy was announced by supporters as the Best Player of April.

KUBAN – DYNAMO

Poltavskaya settlement hosted IX Konstantin Beskov Memorial Tournament. Kuban veterans showed more than decent performance and again won the gold medals of the tournament.
