On Thursday, 28 July, two clubs of the Russian Football Premier League are having their first leg matches of QR3 UEFA Europa League.

Spartak Moscow is going to play against AEK in Larnaca. Kick-off match – 18:00, broadcast will be arranged on Match-TV and Match! Futbol2 TV channels. The match will be officiated by Spanish referee Alejandro Hernandez.

Spartak never played against Cyprus clubs before.

On 26 July the team arrived to Cyprus, on 27 July Spartak will be having a pre-match training session in Larnaca, as the website of the club informs.

Krasnodar will kick-off their match in Malta against local club Birkirkara at 20:30. The match will be broadcasted at Match TV and Match! Futbol 2 TV channels. The game will be officiated by Belgian referee Bart Vertenten.

Before Krasnodar never played against clubs from Malta, but Birkirkara played against Dynamo Moscow in 2001, and lost 0:1 on the aggregate result of two matches.

Traditional pre-match press-conference of Krasnodar Head Coach Oleg Kononov and one of the players will start at Hibernians Stadium on 27 July at 19:15 (local time). Pre-game training session will start at 19:30 and the first 15 minutes of it will be open for media representatives.
