On 6-8 August matches of ROSGOSSTRAKH Russian Football Championship will be held. The tournament picks up steam and for now the teams are far from showing their best performance.

It is worth noting that on Sunday debut of a new arena is going to happen in the Premier League - FC Orenburg will play its first home match, and it will be against the current  Champion - PFC CSKA.

Originally the match was to be held in Moscow, but the new stadium of the Army club is not ready, so the decision was taken to change the home teams in both rounds. A fantastic job is done in Orenburg and Gazovik Stadium is ready to host matches of the highest level. At the very last moment the decision was taken to change the kick-off time for 16:00 due to the hot weather. It was made in order to provide maximum of comfort and safety for supporters.

It will be interesting to observe Spartak Moscow, which after its incredible fiasco in UEFA Europa League will be hosting Krylia Sovetov. Local club will be hosting Zenit in Ufa, and Zenit will still be missing two new players.

However, the remaining matches also will have interesting and tough competition. There were not so many goals during MD 1, so we can expect and explosion of them in MD 2.
