The first Registration Period of the Russian Football Premier League ended on 31 August (it started on 9 June). The RFPL clubs registered players and staff lists for participation in ROSGOSSTRAKH Russian Football Championship season 2016-2017.

The second Registration Period in the Premier League will start on 25 January and will last till 24 February 2017.
