On Thursday, 29 September, UEFA Europa League Group Stage match was held in Krasnodar. FC Krasnodar played against FC Nice and won 5:2.

Fedor Smolov scored the opener in the middle of the first half. Unfortunately this goal cost an injury to the player and he was substituted, so Ari entered the pitch. Then Joaozinho scored to the visiting team. Nice players managed to play one goal back before the first half – 2:1.

The referee pointed at the 11-meter mark in the  65^th minute of the game and Joaozinho scored his second goal to the leader of the French Championship. Encouraged Krasnodar players forgot about their defense and immediately conceded a goal – 3:2. Ari extended the lead for his team at the end of the game and managed to score again during extra time.

Supporters will remember this match as the last UEFA Europa League match held by Krasnodar at Kuban Stadium. Next stage of the tournaments will be played by FC Krasnodar at their new home arena.
