On Wednesday, 25 January 2017 RFPL clubs General Assembly took place at the RFPL head-quarters.

The clubs representatives gave the off-season summary of ROSGOSSTRAKH Russian Football Championship season 2016-2017, discussed the draft structure of Championship season 2017-2018 calendar, the venue for Super Cup of Russia 2017 match, received the information about preparation of a contract with the FUR related to the rights to hold Championship of Russia and about delegation of commercial and broadcasting rights for the period 2018/2019 – 2021/2022.

FC Ufa CEO Shamil Gazizov spoke about preparation for the first RFPL Virtual Football Cup, which will be held by the Premier League in Ufa on the basis of the club initiative in the period between 24 and 26 February 2017.
