RFPL Virtual Football Championship will kick-off on 31 March in Kazan. This competition will become a qualifying competition for  World Championship EA Sports FIFA 17 Ultimate Team», held under the auspices of FIFA. The winner of the tournament will represent Russia at qualifying stage of World Ultimate Team CHAMPIONSHIP.  EA SPORTS company will grant the right to participate in regional qualifying stage of EUROPE SEASON, REGIONAL FINAL.

In the opinion of the tournaments’ organizers, these competitions will remain in the history of the Russian Football Premier League and Russian sport. And OLIMP RFPL Virtual Football Cup which was held in Ufa at the end of February is the proof of it.

Virtual players from the Russian Football Premier League 16 clubs will take part in the competition (the winner and finalists of the first OLIMP RFPL Virtual Football  Cup, Андрей Гурьев (PFC CSKA), Роберт Фахретдинов (FC Ufa), Кирилл Ординарцев (FC Orenburg), Антон Кленов (FC Lokomotiv) and others), and 4 players qualified from the two qualifying rounds of the Championship.

The tournament draw will take place on 19 March.  ROSGOSSTRAKH RFPL Virtual Football Championship will kick-off on 31 March. On 1 April play-off matches and the final to determine the winner will take place.

Beside virtual football competitions the tournament spectators in Kazan will see a show programme.  In the intervals between virtual football battles of Kazan Mayor Cup 2017 the ST (Alexander Stepanov) will make a performance. He is the author of the official soundtrack of FIFA 17 Russian version.

The tournament will be broadcasted live on the Russian Football Premier League official website, and RFPL pages ВК «Наш Футбол»  and YouTube «Наш Футбол», live on the  Game Show TV channel, in the application GameShow on LG Smart TV platform, Twitch, RFPL clubs’ pages in social media.

The  Game Show TV channel general producer Natalya Chaykovskaya thinks that these matches will attract a lot of spectators: “At the end of February we showed games of OLIMP RFPL Virtual Football Cup, and they all were very good welcomed by spectators. Millions of people watched the tough competition of the RFPL 16 clubs representatives in hope to get the trophy. Now the emotions will run even higher, because a chance to represent Russia at international competitions is at stake”.
