ROSGOSSTRAKH RFPL Virtual Football Championship will kick-off in Kazan on 31 March. The competition will be the qualifying state for World Championship EA Sports FIFA 17 Ultimate Team», held under auspices of FIFA. The tournament winner will represent Russia at the World Championship Ultimate Team CHAMPIONSHIP. EA SPORTS company will provide him with the right to participate in regional qualifying competition EUROPE SEASON, REGIONAL FINAL.
The tournament organizers think that this competition will come into the history of the Russian Football Premier League and Russian sports. And the proof of that is successful OLIMP RFPL Virtual Football Cup held in Ufa at the end of February.
Virtual football players from the Russian Football Premier League 16 clubs will take part in this event (the winner and finalists of the first edition of OLIMP RFPL Virtual Football Cup Andre Guryev (PFC CSKA), Robert Fakhretdinov (FC Ufa), Kirill Ordinartsev (FC Orenburg), Anton Llenov (FC Lokomotiv) and others), as well as 4 players qualified through two qualifying rounds of the Championship.
The tournament draw took place on 22 March at 13:00.

ROSGOSSTRAKH RFPL Virtual Football Championship group stage will kick-off on 31 March. Play-off matches and the final to determine the winner will be held on 1 April.
The Championship spectators will see not only the strongest Russian athletes, but also will be able to estimate the game of the best world and European players: on 2 April the first virtual football international competition KazanMayorCup 2017 will take place in Kazan. Two big teams of virtual football players will oppose each other. Russian team will be represented by the winner and the prize winners of ROSGOSSTRAKH RFPL Virtual Football Championship, as well as FC Rubin. The world representation team will consist of the best European teams: Ajax (Netherlands), Manchester City (England), Valencia (Spain), Roma (Italy).
Besides virtual football competition spectators in Kazan will see an entertainment programme. In the intervals between virtual football competitions of the first Mayor Cup the audience will see ST performer (Alexander Stepanov), who is the official soundtrack author of the FIFA 17 Russian version.

The live broadcast of the tournament will be arranged at the Russian Football Premier League website (киберфутбол.рф), VK pages of Nash Futbol (vk.com/rfpl), on Game Show TV channel live broadcast, in LG Smart TV Game Show application, Premier League clubs social media.
Game Show TV channel General Producer Natalia Tchaykovskaya thinks that these matches will attract a lot of attention from audience: "At the end of February we showed games of OLIMP RFPL Virtual Football Cup, and they were very well welcomed by spectators. Millions of people watched the tense competition of the RFPL 16 clubs competing for the trophy.
