ROSGOSSTRAKH Russian Football Championship MD 22 matches will be held in the period between 8 and 10 April.

Krylia Sovetov – Amkar

The MD will  be kicked-off with the match in Samara, where Krylia Sovetov will be hosting Amkar from Perm. The coach of the team from Perm is very much respected in Samara, where everybody remembers him very well. Gadzhi Gadzhiev reached the best results in his career of a club coach and won bronze medals with Krylia in 2004. Now Amkar is in the top part of the tournament table, and can compete for entering European Cups zone at the end of the season. As for Samara, they are not so successful. So far they haven’t won a single match in spring and occupy the one before the last one line in the tournament table, which means a strong fight for survival at the end of the season. It is interesting that four of six latest matches of these teams ended in a draw, three of them were goalless, including the one in the first round in Perm.

Terek – Arsenal

Terek and Arsenal will play in Grozny. The team of Rashid Rakhimov has not have any wins in the spring part of the Championship and went down to the 8^th position. So it has to win at home. The club from Tula looks well at home, but lost twice away, to the leaders – PFC CSKA and Zenit. The team tries to keep its position in the Premier League, so it has to earn the points they need so much. The opponents played in a draw in the first round – 0:0.

Zenit – Anji

Zenit will be playing against Anji in St.Petersburg. Both players and fans of Zenit evidently remember the terrible defeat from Makhachkala club the Cup of Russia match 0:4. Of course, Blue-White-SkyBlues will do their best in order to revenge, besides the team of Mircea Lucescu compete for the title, so the match will be quite tough for Anji. However, rare teams can have easy match in St.Petersburg. In the first round the teams played in Kaspiisk 2:2.

Ufa – Spartak

This fact promises a very interesting and thrilling match to all those who love football. Besides the result of this match can affect the competition for the main trophy of the season.

Krasnodar – PFC CSKA

The central match of the MD will take place in Krasnodar, where Krasnodar and PFC CSKA will be playing at Krasnodar home arena. The Army team won the three latest matches of the Championship and they are just behind the table leaders – Spartak. And Krasnodar is on the top position among the teams which are just a little bit behind the top three. The matches between these opponents are held with mixed success, but the team from Moscow beat Krasnodar in an away match last in season 2012/13. The first round match in Moscow ended in a draw – 1:1.

Lokomotiv – Rostov

Lokomotiv will be hosting Rostov in Moscow. This match can be considered as the game between two closest competitors, which are separated only by one point in the table. Both teams compete for entering the European Cups zone, and the results of their matches will make an effect on the positioning of the clubs in the final table. We also should not forget that over the latest four matches of the Russian Championship Rostov used to beat Lokomotiv, including the game in the first round 1:0.

On Monday the game between Tom and Rubin will take place in Tom. The fans of the club from Kazan are waiting for the results from their club. However, the team from Tom has already proved at their home stadium that they can do a lot if well supported by their dedicated fans. Rubin beat Kazan 2:1 in the first round match in Kazan.

The wrap-up match of the MD will take place in Ekaterinburg between Ural and Orenburg. The new Urals derby will for sure attract a lot of interest from supporters. The clubs played only once in the Premier League before – in the first round, when Ural managed to win with the minimal score in Orenburg. We shall see on Monday whether the team of Robert Evdokimov is able to gain revenge.
