On Wednesday, 27 September, PFC CSKA played UEFA Champions League Group Stage MD 2 match against Manchester United. The game ended 1:4.

Two goals were scored by Romelu Lukaku in the 4^th and 27^th minutes. The Swedish referee awarded a kick from 11-meter mark to the goal of Igor Akinfeev, which was perfectly converted by Anthony Martial. The final goal for MU was scored by Henrikh Mkhitaryan during the second half – 4:0. The Army team managed to score once in the 90^th minute. It was Konstantin Kuchaev.
