On Thursday, 19 October, Russian Football Premie League clubs are going to play UEFA Europa League group stage MD 3 matches.

Zenit – Rosenborg

The teams already played in UEFA Cup Round of 32 in 2015-06, Zenit beat Rosenborg twice (total score 4:1).

Zenit played four matches against Norwegian teams and all of them were won by the club from St.Petersburg. Rosenborg played against Russian clubs six times and managed to win only once. Five other matches were lost, including three matches in Russia.

For now Zenit is the group leader and it is 3 points ahead of the next team in the group – Real Sociedad. And that means that the team of Roberto Mancini cannot afford to lose points, because UEL Round of 32 is not so far.

The referees’ team is from Germany. Referee is Tobias Stieler, assistant referees are Mike Pickel and Jan Seidel, the 4^th official is Christian Gittelmann, additional assistant referees are Benjamin Brand and Harm Osmers.

Lokomotiv had never played against a club from Moldova, but Sheriff is going to play its 5^th match against a Russian club. All matches before were played in a draw.

Lokomotiv is also the leader of Group F and is 2 points ahead of its opponent, but the team from Moscow cannot relax, as Sheriff is occupying the first position in Moldovan Championship tournament table.

The referees’ team is from Hungary. Referee Istvan Vad, assistant referees are Istvan Albert and Peter Berettyan, the 4^th official is Theodoros Georgiou, additional assistant referees are Ferenc Karako and Jozsef Erdos.
