RIP Valery Leonidovich Reinhold

In Moscow on Tuesday 11 February, Valery Leonidovich Reinhold died. He was 77 years old.

Reinhold played for Spartak Moscow from 1960 to 1967. With them, he became national champion in 1962 - scoring the goal that clinched the championship - was runner up in 1963, and finished third in 1961. He won the USSR Cup in 1963 and1965.

In total, Valery Leonidovich played 196 games for Spartak and scored 34 goals. Spartak never lost a game in which he scored.

Valery Leonidovich was also a winner of the 1962 World Sports Games of Youth and Students in Helsinki, winner of the second group A (the third strongest league in the USSR) in 1970 and the winner of the 1959 USSR Amateur Cup.
