The RFU has created a joint commission with the RPL that will determine which RPL matches will use the VAR system. It includes the RFU general secretary Aleksandr Alaev, RPL president Sergey Pryadkin, head of the judicial department Viktor Kashshai, VAR implementation project manager in Russia Leonid Kaloshin and RPL marketing Director Evgeniy Savin. The first meeting of the commission is scheduled for Thursday 25 June. The list of video assistants (VAR) and their assistants for the matches scheduled for 27 June will become known after deciding which games will use VAR.
