Russian Premier Liga President Sergey Pryadkin has talked about the meeting between clubs and the Rospotrebnadzor representative, which took place via video conference.
"The clubs asked to arrange a meeting with Rospotrebnadzor in order to communicate directly and ask questions about the organisation of matches, quotas of fans at stadiums, reducing the period of quarantine, and the entry of foreigners. We are glad that we were able to gather online before the start of the championship.
“Club representatives asked whether it would be possible to limit the quarantine period of contact groups during regular testing from 14 days to seven, and whether it is possible to reduce the quarantine period for incoming foreigners. Colleagues from Rospotrebnadzor stressed that there are no plans to change these issues at the moment.
“The meeting discussed the issue of increasing the quota of fans at stadiums. The Rospotrebnadzor representative stressed that this issue is decided by regional leaders based on the epidemiological situation in the regions.
“At the meeting, it was once again stressed that in each case of infection at RPL clubs, the investigation is conducted by the regional department of Rospotrebnadzor and identifies the circle of contacts.
“The meeting with the Rospotrebnadzor representative was productive, and the clubs thanked the agency for a constructive conversation.”
