Hwang In-beom is fifth South Korean player to score in the RPL

Rubin Kazan midfielder Hwang In-beom scored the first goal for the club after coming on as a substitute against FC Ufa.

The South Korean scored in the 47th minute, a minute after entering the field.

In previous seasons, eight South Korean players have played in the RPL, with four of them scoring goals. Yoo Byung-soo, who played for Rostov from 2013 to 2016, and Kim Dong-jin, who played for Zenit from 2006 to 2009 and became Russian champion in 2007, scored three times. Kim Dong-hyun and Lee Ho scored one goal each for Rubin and Zenit respectively, both in 2006.

Hyun Yong-min (Zenit, 2006), Oh Bom-seok (Krylia Sovetov Samara, 2008-2009), Kim Nam-il (Tom Tomsk, 2010-2011) and Kim In-sung (CSKA Moscow, 2012) are the others who played but didn’t score in the RPL.
