We have rounded up the main facts, figures and highlights of matchday 11.

Aleksandr Kokorin scored his 1st goal for Spartak Moscow against FC Khimki. The forward equalised with a penalty as the Red-Whites eventually won. He moved to the Moscow club in August, but only made his debut in the 3-1 September derby defeat against CSKA, and has only played three matches for Domenico Tedesco's team in the RPL.

Two minutes was enough for Ze Luis to make an assist in his first match for Lokomotiv Moscow. The forward made his debut for the Railwaymen against FC Ufa, coming on as a substitute in the 65th minute, and in the 67th fed Grzegorz Krychowiak to score the winning goal. Ze Luis had previously played in Russia for Spartak from 2015 to 2019, then left for Porto before returning to Moscow with Lokomotiv.

Four goalkeepers were named man of the match this matchday by MATCH PREMIER experts. Spartak's Aleksandr Maksimenko made eight saves against Khimki and picked up his third award of the season. This season’s oldest player, Sergey Ryzhikov, saved FC Tambov five times against Rotor Volgograd, including a penalty. In the CSKA vs Dynamo derby, Igor Akinfeev was the best with two saves, and against Akhmat Grozny, FC Rostov’s Sergey Pesyakov saved a penalty with the score at 1-0.

Kento Hashimoto has scored five goals this season, repeating his personal record set in 2017 for FC Tokyo. Then it took him 26 matches. Over the next two seasons, the Japanese scored four goals in 65 games, and then moved to Rostov, where he has scored five times in nine games. Rostov have won all matches in which he has scored.

7 years, 10 months and 23 days passed between Vitaly Lystsov's two matches for Lokomotiv in the RPL. He played his first game for the Railwaymen on 24 November 2012, when he came on for one minute in the 3-2 win over Krasnodar, and on the last matchday he played a full 90 minutes against Ufa. In total, the defender has played 10 matches in the RPL - he played eight more for Krylia Sovetov in the 2019/20 season.

For the first time in 10 matches, a Viktor Gancharenko team beat Dynamo Moscow. The Belarusian has faced Dynamo in charge of three clubs: Kuban took two points from three matches, Ural lost in his only match against the Blue-Whites, while CSKA had shared points three times and lost twice until they beat Dynamo at the VEB Arena in the last round. The Armymen have not won against Dynamo for a long time, the previous victory coming in a 1-0 win in April 2016.

18 years old was the age of Rostov players Artur Sokhiev and Aleksandr Gapechkin, who made assists after coming on as substitutes against Akhmat. In the 62nd minute, Sokhiev appeared on the field, and three minutes later, he set up Roman Eremenko to increase Rostov’s advantage. Three minutes later, Gapechkin, who had just replaced Pavel Mamaev, assisted Danil Glebov for his first RPL goal.

Ufa defender Alexey Nikitin played his 100th RPL match. In the 2013/14 season, he made his debut in the league for Amkar Perm, and since 2015 has played for Ufa, for whom he has played in 83 matches. During this time, he has scored twice; in 2016 in a 1-1 draw against Mordovia Saransk, and 3-2 win over Anzhi Makhachkala in 2018.

364 days passed between Vyacheslav Karavaev's two goals in the RPL and Aleksandr Lomovitsky's last two goals for Arsenal. On 19 October 2019, the Zenit defender scored the first goal in a 6-1 thrashing of Rostov, and a day later, Lomovitsky equalised with a penalty in a 1-1 draw against Sochi. On the last matchday, Karavaev's goal helped Zenit beat Sochi 3-1, and Lomovitsky brought Arsenal a 1-0 victory over Ural Ekaterinburg. The Spartak youth product scored for the third time this season. Previously, he had scored twice for Khimki, but left the team on 1 October, after which the Red-Whites sent him out on loan to Arsenal.

Brian Idowu had not scored in the RPL in 1,412 days, yet scored for Khimki against Spartak. It was the defender’s second career league goal; he scored the first in a 3-0 home win for Amkar against Orenburg on 5 December 2016. After that, he only scored in the Russian Cup. In the 2017/18 season, Idowu scored against Rostov in the last 16, and Amkar went through thanks to a penalty shootout victory.
